About Our Client

Our client is a rapidly expanding international provider of digital and service solutions in the renewable energy sector, specialising in distributed solar and storage systems. The company now targets the German market as a major step in its global expansion plan.

This is a rare opportunity for a visionary leader: you will be the first Country Manager for Germany , driving growth, building operations, and positioning our client as a leading provider in the region. With strong performance in this role, you will have a clear path to establishing and leading a full subsidiary and taking on a senior leadership role.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

Market & Business Development

  • Define and execute the growth strategy for Germany in line with global objectives.
  • Identify industry trends, regulatory shifts and market opportunities in solar, storage and distributed energy.
  • Develop partnerships with installers, distributors and channel partners; deliver market insight and feedback to headquarters.

Sales & Commercial Leadership

  • Own the revenue and customer acquisition targets for Germany.
  • Build and lead the commercial/sales team to drive adoption and retention.
  • Manage strategic relationships with channel partners, suppliers and industry stakeholders; define pricing and commercial models for local needs.

Operations & Delivery

  • Oversee daily operations including sales support, customer success, logistics, technical support.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding, partner engagement and high service levels.
  • Drive process improvement and ensure compliance with German regulations and standards.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing team across operations and sales functions.
  • Foster a results-driven culture and act as the local bridge between German operations and global HQ.

Finance & Strategy Execution

  • Manage the P & L for German operations, budget planning, forecasting and reporting.
  • Provide strategic input to shape product adoption, market trends and customer behaviour .
Brand & Industry Representation
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences and with key stakeholders in Germany.
  • Build relationships with policy makers, industry associations and strategic partners.

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • 10+ years’ experience in renewables , digital energy solutions, or related sectors, including senior leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of scaling B2B businesses or launching new markets.
  • Commercial mindset with P&L ownership and hands-on execution.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of the German energy market and associated regulatory environment.
  • Fluency in German (native) and English.
  • Entrepreneurial, resilient and motivated to lead in a high-growth environment.
