Project nature & working methods

                          The team works on various projects. Reinforcement of electronics development in the areas of analog design, 
                          

                          PCB layout for cryptographic devices, random number generators, and test equipment. 
      

Profile / Requirements

                          - Master’s degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification (bachelor's degree with many years of 
                          

                            experience also possible) 
                          

                          - Alternatively, the candidate may also have experience in the field of high-frequency technology as a 
                          

                            qualification 
                          

                          - Several years of experience in circuit design and PCB layout for analog and mixedsignal electronics 
                          

                          - Several years of experience working with ECAD design and simulation tools 
                          

                          - Knowledge of at least one programming language for controlling automated test setups 
                          

                          - Experience with European ECSS aerospace standards desirable 
                          

                          - High level of motivation and initiative 
                          

                          - Strong conceptual skills and a solution-oriented approach to work 
                          

                          - Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team 
                          

                          - Good written and spoken German and English

                          The analog electronics team has two additional employees who perform identical tasks. The simulation tool used
                          

                          is Spice. We are looking for someone who is accustomed to working with reliable components (e.g., sensors). 
                          

                          Overall, it can be said that the department deals with computer boards (processors, FPGAs) for satellites and 
                          

                          ground control stations. The analog electronics team is responsible for the construction of auxiliary 
                          

                          electronics. Another keyword is transmission security (securely encrypting data from satellites to the ground, 
                          

                          as well as decrypting data streams and forwarding them to the ground system).
