Technical responsibility in the project

• Creation of harness designs for satellites based on a given electrical architecture, taking into account the applicable requirements.


• Coordination of the electrical harness design with other disciplines (3d routing, integration, thermal analysis, structural development, manufacturing and quality assurance).


• Planning and execution of harness design analyses (voltage drop, worst case, derating).


• Preparation of harness manufacturing documents and integration procedures.


• Support of AG proposals regarding harness activities by providing technical descriptions, identification of harness activities and cost estimation.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or related fields.


• Several years of professional experience in harness design for space applications.


• Mastery of space-specific processes and knowledge of applicable quality standards (ECSS, MIL) in harness design.


• Experience in the use of harness design software (Siemens CAPITAL Harness)


• Confident in using MS Project for resource planning and progress tracking.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills and ability to work under pressure.


• Very good written and spoken English and German.
