Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IFS Finance Consultant to join our growing client's team in Germany. This role is ideal for a functional expert with strong experience in IFS Applications 10 and/or IFS Cloud , who can drive finance transformation initiatives, support implementations, and optimize financial processes for clients.

You will work closely with stakeholders across finance and IT to deliver high-quality ERP solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support IFS Finance module implementations , upgrades, and enhancements

• Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into system solutions

• Configure and customise IFS Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.)

• Provide functional expertise during all project phases (design, build, test, deploy)

• Deliver user training and support post-go-live activities

• Collaborate with technical teams for integrations and custom developments

• Ensure compliance with local German financial regulations and reporting standards

• Support continuous improvement and optimisation of finance processes

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an IFS Finance Consultant

• Strong hands-on experience with IFS Applications 10 and/or IFS Cloud

• In-depth knowledge of core finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets)

• Experience in full lifecycle ERP implementations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Language Requirements

• German: B2+ (minimum)

• English: Fluent (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in consulting environments or client-facing roles

• Knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and/or IFRS

• Exposure to integration tools and reporting solutions within IFS

• Relevant certifications in IFS or Finance/Accounting
