Your seat to fill

• Conduct prior art searches, freedom-to-operate analyses, and competitor IP assessments
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams from Project Management, Design, Legal, and Product Management to ensure seamless IP integration into development processes
• Work closely with inventors and R&D teams to identify possible risks at early stages of development
• Analyze technical solutions to identify patentable ideas in product development
• Assist in formulating and implementing IP strategies that align with business and innovation goals
• Contribute to inventor workshops and training initiatives to foster a strong innovation culture
• Maintain and help expand the company’s patent portfolio using internal IP tools and databases

Your stroll to CYBEX

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Several years of professional experience as patent engineer or in comparable position, in particular including FTO analyses
• High interest in intellectual property law, innovation processes, and technology strategy
• Analytical and structured approach to complex technical and legal information
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across departments
• Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with patent search tools (e.g., Espacenet, DEPATISnet, Questel Orbit) is an advantage
