Chaberton Professionals is currently supporting a high-growth Italian scale-up in the search for a Marketing Manager – Germany .
Our client is a recognized B2B technology company with a strong international team and a rapidly expanding market presence.
Following successful growth across multiple European markets, the company is now entering the German market.
To support the launch and scale-up of the local presence, we are looking for an entrepreneurial, hands-on Marketing leader who will be among the
first hires in Germany
.
This is a pivotal role at a defining moment in the company’s international expansion journey.
The selected candidate will have full responsibility for building and executing the marketing strategy in Germany , with end-to-end ownership of local brand positioning, demand generation, and market presence.
This is a builder role , designed for someone comfortable operating between strategy and execution in a fast-growing scale-up environment.
In particular, the role will involve:
- Translating the global positioning into a strong, credible local brand aligned with the German legal and B2B ecosystem.
- Owning and managing the company’s presence at key industry events, conferences, and exclusive formats (e.g. roundtables, executive dinners), strengthening visibility and authority.
- Building and scaling local social channels and professional communities, creating high-value content for legal and regulated audiences.
- Managing the local marketing budget, launching, testing, and scaling campaigns across digital channels and partnerships, with a strong focus on ROI and measurable growth.
- Developing strategic partnerships with local associations, influencers, and ecosystem players to accelerate market penetration.
- Working closely with the international team and the Country Manager to ensure strong alignment between marketing, sales, and overall go-to-market strategy.
This role will have a direct impact on how the company is positioned and perceived during its German market entry and scale-up phase.
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing roles, ideally within B2B SaaS, Legal Tech, or high-growth technology environments.
- Proven experience in building or scaling marketing activities in a new or developing market.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to operate autonomously and build processes from scratch.
- Excellent communication skills and sensitivity to legal or regulated environments.
- Native-level or C2 German and fluent English; precision in market-facing communication is essential.
- Strong project management capabilities, including budget ownership and coordination of multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with modern marketing tools and stacks (CRM, marketing automation, paid channels, event platforms).
