For REWE digital Spain , a team of 60 colleagues, subsidiary of REWE Group , located in the Technological Park of Andalusia (PTA) in Malaga we are looking for an SAP Basis Administrator - IT Engineer . She/He will join the "SAP ERP Platform” who provides SAP systems for the REWE Group and operates them on-premise.

As the central solution provider for information and telecommunications systems we plan, develop, configure, and operate efficient systems and applications for the REWE Group , one of the leading trade and tourism groups in Germany and Europe with around 390,000 employees.

You will work in a team with flat hierarchies and agile, interdisciplinary project structures. Our team of 16 is responsible, based in Germany, for the entire lifecycle of SAP systems, starting with the planning and preparation of new SAP systems, their operation, and extending to archiving and decommissioning. We are the point of contact and consultant for our internal stakeholders and always offer customized solutions.

We use the latest and most modern technologies and methods, such as S/4 HANA, BTP, Fiori and Cloud Connector, which are operated on-premise and in the future in the SAP Private Cloud ("RISE with SAP”).

What will you do

• You coordinate SAP projects and release upgrades to promote innovation.
• You plan, implement and operate our SAP systems and SAP HANA infrastructure with confidence and contribute your expertise.
• You have no problem with SAP basis customizing . System availability and continuity are always at the center of your work.
• You carry out OS/DB platform migrations and establish sustainable solutions.
• You enjoy performing performance analyses and optimization measures.
• As a member of an agile product team, you also continuously drive strategic topics in the sense of "inspect and adapt”.

What you will bring:

• First and foremost, your personality: the ability to work in a team, planning and organizational skills, as well as initiative and flexibility. Very good analytical skills round off your profile.
• Degree in (business) informatics or a comparable education with an affinity for IT.
• Several years of experience in SAP Basis Administration of Netweaver AS ABAP & AS JAVA.
• Good Unix knowledge and experience with DB2, SAP HANA and SAP Solution Manager.
• You are familiar with agile working methods and have the ability to develop creative solutions.
• We consider knowledge of English to be necessary due to our internal and external interfaces in cooperation with our German Team.
• Our 24/7 support requires occasional participation in our on-call duty

Nice to have:

• Some experience with RISE with SAP is desirable.
