Within the framework of projects in the field of space data systems, you will assume a key role in the development and integration of the image processing chain.

Your tasks

• Interface coordination between the instrument team and the software preprocessing team


• System integration of the image processing chain, taking mission-specific requirements into account.


• Planning and coordination of the image processor test campaign, support in defining test cases, execution and evaluation


• Coordination and support of the verification and validation of the image chain


• Technical coordination with internal and external project partners


• Support with programming and analysis in C++ and IDL within the framework of system integration and test evaluation

Your qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, physics, mathematics, aerospace engineering or comparable qualification


• Experience in software development


• Several years of experience in the field of digital image signal processing


• Very good knowledge of C++ and ideally IDL.


• Experience in coordinating technical interfaces and interdisciplinary teams


• Experience in the technical execution of projects


• Structured and independent work style as well as strong communication skills


• Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
