As the market-leading manufacturer of precision servo gearboxes we are looking to add an additional member to our sales team. The perfect candidate will assist WITTENSTEIN in further developing and growing product sales, plus provide the highest technical support for our demanding customers.

Job Description

We are looking for a Southern based, field sales engineer with experience in the motion control or industrial automation industry to join our team and take responsibility for a Southern region of the UK.

Main responsibilities include site visits to existing and potential customers and meeting sales targets. We have many existing customers in this region, which we have strong relationships with, which you will carefully manage as well as developing new
business. The successful candidate will receive training to gain the high-level technical knowledge needed whilst working externally. This will include, detailed product training, servo system sizing calculations, 3D CAD, service & evaluation work.
They will be working for the Sales Director and visit established and new potential customers, to review, discuss, develop any requirements.

The sales based role will appeal to those individuals, who have/are working in a technical role, self-motivated, possess excellent
communication skills and have a suitable Engineering degree or equivalent.

Person Specification

Essential

• Engineering Degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of Microsoft Packages
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• A high standard of personal organisation
• Full clean driving licence
• Self motivated
• Able to work to deadlines

Desirable

• Sales experience
• Servo sizing
• Motion control experience

Hours

Upon joining the company, working hours will be 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and all benefits apply.
