Intern Data Transformation & Data Engineering

Glashütte, for an internship period of at least six months.

We are looking for an Intern Data Transformation & Data Engineering to join our team as soon as possible, working full-time at the Glashütte location.

Mission

As part of our Data Team, you will support the transformation of our Reporting & Analytics landscape towards a modern, holistic data platform. You will be a consultant, sparring partner, co-thinker, and visionary, and you will support the team in developing reliable, high-performance data marts for all departments as part of our Data Warehouse.

Task s

As an intern, you will support the technical development of our Data Warehouse solution as well as our data transformation. Collaborating with the Data Team, you'll assist in the Data Warehouse rollout, document data structures, and support the implementation of new Data Marts. You will research data best practices and support communication with stakeholders.

• Create documentation of existing data structures to field level and data requirements
• Assist in creating new data structures to meet business needs
• Write clean SQL code up to ALS data standards
• Conduct research on data best practices, tools, and technologies
• Assist in preparing communication materials for various stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise messaging
• Participate in meetings and workshops, taking notes and tracking action items
• Provide general administrative support to the Data Transformation Manager as needed

Profile

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Strong proficiency in English communication
