Responsibilities

• Supporting the sales organization as the customer's first technical point of contact for standard products through product presentations, training, and application studies

• Responsible for all product- and application-specific issues in the sales process and for the assigned product line to support sales target achievement

• Provide technical support proactively, answer inquiries and resolve implementation problems in the field for customers

• Support quality department in the quality complaint process by troubleshooting and analyzing customers processes for better investigation and resolution

• Collect, compile, verify and analyze data on the assigned product line performance and customer feedback to identify product features that need to be changed to meet customer needs

• Deep understanding of market requirements and competitor information, and actively passing this information on to management

• Planning and executing marketing events

• Writing application notes, preparing presentations for conferences and conducting training courses

• Planning and conducting theoretical and practical customer and sales training courses

• Develop strategic projects in collaboration with product management and implement them in collaboration with sales

What will convince us

• University degree in biochemistry or comparable

• Familiarity with lateral flow applications or immunoassays in the diagnostic field and a good understanding of hot research topics is a plus

• Proven experience in a similar position and industry is advantageous

• Strong learning ability, and expert knowledge base in this area

• Ability to effectively interface with customers, sales team and product management

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Strong customer orientation

• Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office, Salesforce

• Fluent in German andEnglish, Chinese is a plus

• Willingness to travel > 30%
