Responsibilities

• Set and execute the BU Strategy in alignment with group strategy set by Executive Board and ensure its timely deployment across all functions

• Build the organizational capabilities needed for both current performance and future innovation requirements

• Drive the Business Unit’s financial performance through disciplined business ownership to meet or exceed annual revenue, gross margin , securing sustainable profitable growth

• Champion customer needs and build strategic relationships to strengthen market impact, thus improving customer satisfaction and increasing share of wallet for the assigned portfolio

• Advance customer-centric innovation and new business development through effective oversight of the product portfolio and innovation pipeline, measured by on time launches, portfolio vitality metrics, and revenue contribution from new products

• Ensure operational excellence across manufacturing sites and S&OE processes to improve quality, cost, service levels, delivery reliability and overall OpEx KPIs

• Lead change across global environments while fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and collaboration, delivering transformation milestones, adoption of new ways of working, and measurable improvements in required behaviors

• Promote cross Business Unit coordination and alignment with Corporate, Commercial, and Operations functions to ensure seamless collaboration, unlock synergies, and drive consistency

• Strategic experience in general management roles in the Life Science or Bioprocessing industry with full business ownership and exposure to product, commercial, and operational environments; international track record across Sales, Product Management and R&D

• Understanding of customer workflows, bioprocessing technologies, and portfolio/innovation levers with a hunter mindset to identify unmet needs & growth opportunities

• Exposure to M&A activities including evaluation & integration

• High digital affinity and ability to leverage digital tools for innovation and efficiency

• Proven ability to take over business ownership , take decisions, drive execution, and improve quality, cost, service, and OpEx performance

• Exceptional ability to translate customer needs into product priorities, innovation opportunities, and business development

• Experience in leading change across global set ups and ensuring adoption of new processes and ways of working

• Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills

• Fluent in English; German is beneficial
