Responsibilities
Lead the S&OP process with a focus on stable OTIF performance and a balanced alignment of demand, capacities, inventories and service levels
Translation of demand signals into feasible mid‑ and long‑term production and supply plans
End‑to‑end responsibility for rolling supply volume planning with a horizon of 4 to 24 months
Driving continuous improvement initiatives, further developing planning tools and processes, and fostering strong collaboration with internal stakeholders
Early identification of risks and bottlenecks across the global supply network and derivation of effective countermeasures
Development of robust scenarios as a basis for management decision‑making
Continuous monitoring of supply chain KPIs and targeted driving of performance improvements
Functional and disciplinary leadership of a globally distributed team, including individual development
Active shaping of the planning landscape using ERP systems, Celonis and Tableau, as well as through global initiatives
What will convince Us
A successfully completed Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a comparable field
Solid professional and leadership experience, ideally within the life sciences industry
Proven end‑to‑end experience in Supply Chain Management
Demonstrated success in project management and leading cross‑functional initiatives
Strong capability to identify supply chain risks and implement effective countermeasures
Confidence in engaging stakeholders and senior leaders across all hierarchical levels with a clear and persuasive communication style
Strong analytical skills combined with a structured and goal‑oriented mindset
Flexibility, resilience and a highly proactive approach in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment
Confident handling of ERP systems, particularly SAP, as well as modern planning tools
Business‑fluent German and English skills, oral and written, such as willingness to travel globally (up to 15%)
