We are seeking a highly motivated optical engineer to join our research team at the interface of advanced microscopy development and neuroscience research . The position centers on the setup, operation, maintenance, and further development of state-of-the-art light microscopy systems (e.g. STED microscopy ), with a strong focus on imaging in living brain tissue.
Your profile
• Solid hands-on experience in optics and advanced light microscopy
• A B.Sc., M.Sc., or PhD in physics, optics, engineering, neuroscience, or a related field
• Strong technical skills combined with curiosity, problem-solving ability, and a genuine enthusiasm for technology and lifelong learning
• Ability to work both independently and within a highly collaborative research environment
