Process Engineer Downstream (x|f|m)

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

• You accompany technical development projects and shape the journey from product idea to final process design

• You independently take over the planning and integration of innovative biopharmaceutical process flows into plant automation

• By creating P&IDs and specifying components, you develop conceptual system designs while considering single-use requirements

• In close collaboration with engineering, automation, PAT, and product management, comprehensive technical solutions are developed

• Under real conditions, you test innovative TFF prototypes, assess the performance of installed components, and derive design optimization proposals

• You provide professional guidance to laboratory technicians and support them in conducting and evaluating technical test series

• Through structured documentation of plans, requirements, and design reviews, you significantly contribute to the traceability and further development of the systems

What will convince us

• A degree in Biotechnology, (Bio)Process Engineering, or Life Sciences is required; a Master's degree is welcome but not mandatory

• Having professional experience is advantageous, yet not a prerequisite

• You possess knowledge of biotechnological processes in Downstream Processing, ideally in the area of TFF

• There is an understanding of control engineering

• Your strengths include a good technical understanding, an affinity for automation, and prototype construction

• Experience in Single-Use Technologies complements your profile

• Analytical thinking, a structured work approach, and enjoyment of experimental laboratory work are characteristics that define you

• You demonstrate team spirit and good communication skills in an interdisciplinary environment

• Your command of English is excellent, and you have at least B1 level in German
