Our company, Hogrefe Digital Solutions GmbH, develops the Hogrefe Test System (HTS), a web platform for comprehensive online psychological assessments, and employs more than 60 people. Our testing methods help, for example, to diagnose learning difficulties in children at an early stage, are used in HR for aptitude testing, and support psychological professionals in supporting people with mental illnesses on their path to recovery.
We are looking for an experienced full-time Team Lead (m/f/d) for System Operations with strong DevOps expertise to lead our System Operations team. This position can also be filled part-time.
You will combine technical expertise with proven leadership experience and ensure stable and secure operations while driving innovation and efficiency. Use your skills and experience to take our platform to the next level.

Qualifications At least five years of professional experience in systems operations / DevOps, Proven leadership experience of at least two years in leading technical teams
Your tasks

Technical Operations and responsibilities
You manage, operate and further develop the infrastructure based on Debian systems
You monitor the platform, conduct error analyses and ensure timely resolution of faults
You coordinate and are responsible for deployments across different environments
You support and coordinate projects in the data center
You actively drive the automation and orchestration of systems and processes
You ensure data availability and maintain disaster recovery plans

Leadership and collaboration
You provide technical direction and mentoring to the System Operations team and foster a culture of reliability, collaboration and continuous improvement
You work closely with the Operations and Engineering teams to align strategies and share best practices
You actively shape and implement modern approaches in automation, orchestration and IT security.
You evaluate and strengthen the security architecture in a data-sensitive environment.
You will be on call and coordinate support outside of regular working hours, if necessary.
Your profile

Required qualifications
At least five years of professional experience in system operations / DevOps
Proven leadership experience of at least two years in leading technical teams
Strong leadership, communication, and social skills
High degree of reliability and a sense of responsibility as well as the ability to work independently
Team orientation and experience in mentoring
Experience with ISO certifications
Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
