The Verification & Validation team is looking for a student in the greater area of Graz to support our post-silicon verification and validation process. Join our team to enhance your practical experience and grow your professional network in parallel to your studies.

Responsibilities:

• Handle state of the art (RF) measurement equipment

• Develop software for automated lab environments

• Analyze and post-process the test data

• Debug and find root causes of unexpected results/behavior

• Presentation of measurement results

• PCB design and soldering

• Learn about semiconductor ICs, embedded ARM software and RF measurement techniques

Your Profile:

• Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or similar

• Willingness to work part time for minimum 6 months, preferably longer

• Knowledge in software development (e.g. NI LabVIEW, Python, C or MATLAB)

• Experience with lab equipment (e.g. Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer etc.)

• Curious to learn about new technologies

• Team player, good communication skills and fluent in English

• Availability approximately 16h/week or more

Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.800- gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
