This internship is within the Applets team, that develops leading edge solutions for phone, banking, access and identity applications. Our customers include most of the major high street brands and our projects include interesting new applications.

We are looking for a highly motivated student to join our team. You will get an opportunity to be mentored by senior engineers and be involved in a number of projects.

Your responsibilities:

• Test development, in particular JavaCard applets

• Automation and laboratory management

• Test tool development.

• Test execution and reporting

• Responsibilities can grow based on dedication and skills

Your profile:

• Ongoing studies in Computer Engineering/Informatics/Security/Telematics/ Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent

• Experience with Java and/or scripting languages

• Experience in test automation (eg. Jenkins) is an advantage

• Independent working style and motivation to learn

• Team player

• Good communication skills

• Solid English skills (conversation and writing)

• Committed to an average of at least 16 hours/week

The possibility of flexible working hours is given.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.600- gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
