Your future responsibilities
Your responsibilities include:
Ownership of electroplating equipment and processes within a semiconductor R&D FAB
Manage the ramp-up and qualification of a new electroplating tool
Develop and optimize new electroplating processes
Ensure stable equipment operation and process performance
Collaborate closely with research teams within SAL to fabricatestate-of-the-art research vehicles
Your profile
Minimum BSc degree in a relevant engineering field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience as a Process Engineer (excluding university education or postdoctoral research)
Proven hands-on experience with equipment operation and process development in a cleanroom environment
Solid expertise in electroplating processes; experience in process development is a strong advantage
Additional experience in other process engineering areas, especially CMP, is an advantage
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a creative approach to developing innovative solutions
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Willingness to relocate to Austria

Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) is a top research center for Electronics and Software Based Systems (ESBS) . At three locations (Graz, Villach, Linz), SAL is conducting research along the entire ESBS value chain in the areas of sensor systems, power electronics, intelligent wireless systems, microsystems and embedded systems to develop future-oriented solutions for industrial production, health, energy, mobility, safety and more.
