Job description
- You will be responsible for the careful checking of incoming invoices and the correct allocation to the corresponding cost centres so that all transactions are transparently traceable
- In addition, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate recording of invoice data in the relevant accounting systems to ensure error-free further processing
- Furthermore, you will be responsible for the timely initiation and processing of all payment runs in consultation with the finance department, keeping an eye on liquidity at all times
- You will also be responsible for clarifying differences and queries regarding supplier invoices, working closely with the procurement departments
- You will actively support the preparatory work for the monthly and annual financial statements by conscientiously monitoring the reconciliation of accounts and the provision of all relevant documents
Requirements
- You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d)
- In addition, you have initial professional experience in the field of preparatory accounting in order to be able to effectively take over the daily processes independently
- You are characterised by your secure knowledge of common ERP systems, ideally SAP or comparable tools, to process invoices efficiently
- You have a native level of written and spoken German and a good command of English, which is essential for internal and external communication
- Furthermore, you have a high sense of responsibility and accuracy, as the correct handling of accounts payable processes is essential for the financial management of our customer
