Our data science team drives demanding data and machine learning projects in the media sector. As a TV broadcaster and digital media company, we use machine learning for content analysis, content automation, quality assurance, and planning automation in our content hub. Artificial intelligence is a key component of RTLZWEI's corporate strategy. The department's core task is the integration of self-hosted ML models as well as foundational models (e.g., ChatGPT or multimodal LLMs) into agent-based workflows for content creation and distribution.

• You develop, evaluate, and operate multimodal agentic workflows based on computer vision, NLP, and especially multimodal large-language models.
• Together with cloud experts, data scientists and data engineers, you will integrate AI models into our content hub.
• Together with our architects, you will implement container- and cloud-based solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, EKS) to deliver our machine learning services.
• You continuously increase the maturity level of our systems using DevOps principles, CI/CD tools, and monitoring solutions (e.g., Grafana).
• You manage and coordinate external partners who support you in carrying out your tasks.

• Completed studies in a technical field (e.g., computer science, computer science, or natural sciences) and several years of professional experience in the data/AI field (ideally approximately 3–5 years)
• Very confident handling of Python and SQL as well as experience in the productive use of machine learning models and methods
• Experience with the productive application of agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph or PydanticAI
• Initial experience with workflow management tools such as Airflow
• Familiarity with agile methods, DevOps principles and CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab)
• Good German skills (at least B2 level required)
