Job Description:
Motec is a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty camera systems, specializing in the development and production of camera-based Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for commercial vehicles and mobile machinery. As a German medium-sized enterprise with over 30 years of experience, we are known for our robust and reliable cameras and mobile electronics. What tasks await you?
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through market and customer analysis
- Develop and implement tactical and long-term business development strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships and customer relationships
- Lead and coordinate strategic business development projects across departments
- Create business cases and investment proposals for senior management
- Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities
- Develop KPIs and regularly report on progress toward business development goals
- Support international expansion and market entry strategies
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
- Collaborate with R&D to identify and develop innovative solutions
- Contribute to budget planning and ensure compliance with internal policies and legal regulations
What do we expect from you?
- Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical/economic field
- Several years of experience in business development, ideally in a technology-driven environment
- Experience with IR&D projects and strategic business planning
- Proficiency in German and English (spoken and written)
- Confident and professional demeanor with strong communication skills
- Additional related certification is a plus
- Analytical thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, and intercultural competence
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office
