To strengthen our Group IT Engineering & Operations team, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Infrastructure Engineer who brings deep technical expertise, ownership, and strategic thinking to our global server infrastructure. Senior Infrastructure Engineer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary contact for all global infrastructure topics and define the roadmap and strategy for RONAL’s server landscape
- Oversee hardware and software infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, virtualization technologies, and data center components, to ensure maximum availability and reliability
- Analyze and translate business and technical requirements into secure, high-performance infrastructure architectures that support global RONAL projects
- Implement and maintain strong infrastructure security measures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards
- Continuously monitor infrastructure performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maximize uptime and stability
- Design, build, and operate modern, scalable infrastructure solutions
- Maintain, operate, and service the global server infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions
- Mentor peers on emerging technologies, infrastructure trends, and best practices
- Present architectural concepts, solutions, and technical recommendations to leadership and project teams
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed education or degree in computer science, telecommunications, or a related technical field
- At least 15 years of experience in IT system engineering, particularly in large Windows-based enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in operating and developing system solutions with a focus on Microsoft technologies and HP hardware
- Deep understanding of server, storage, virtualization, and data center technologies
- Good written and spoken English; German is considered a plus
- High degree of personal responsibility and reliability, with the ability to work effectively in a virtual, international team
- Willingness to travel to global RONAL sites (approx. 10%)
