Job description
- You will be responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable, including the posting of current business transactions
- You will also reconcile accounts and monitor open items as well as dunning and payment transactions
- You will take care of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
- You will process provisions, accruals and clarify accounting-relevant issues
- you act as a contact person for auditors, tax consultants and specialist departments
- you actively participate in process optimisation and automation projects in accounting
Requirements
- You have completed commercial training, e.g. as an office management assistant (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification, ideally with further training as an accountant (IHK) (m/f/d)
- You have already gained several years of professional experience in financial accounting, especially in accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Furthermore, you have sound knowledge of commercial law (HGB) and are confident in using common ERP systems (e.g. SAP, DATEV, Navision and MS Office, especially Excel). ERP systems (e.g. SAP, DATEV, Navision) and MS Office, especially Excel
- You are characterised by your analytical thinking skills as well as your high affinity for numbers and structured way of working
- Your strengths include teamwork, reliability and a sense of responsibility
