Job description
- You will be responsible for the long-term expansion of business relationships with existing customers and the targeted acquisition of new customers in the wholesale and specialist trade for building materials
- In addition, you will be responsible for providing qualified advice to property and specialist trade customers as well as providing intensive support and technical advice to architects in your sales area:

- You will also be responsible for the preparation of individual offers and lead negotiations to the successful conclusion of orders independently and in a goal-oriented manner
- The processing of customer complaints and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through professional complaint management is also part of your daily and responsible tasks
- as part of your job, you will support the presentation of the company by actively participating in relevant trade fairs and regional exhibitions to increase brand awareness
- finally, you will be responsible for strategic market observation in your area of northern Germany and report regularly on current developments and potential to the sales management
Requirements
- You have completed training as a wholesale and foreign trade management assistant (m/f/d), wood mechanic (m/f/d) or carpenter (m/f/d) and further training as a business administrator (m/f/d)
- In addition, you have sound professional experience in field sales or in a comparable position with a focus on advising on technical products within the construction industry
- Your confident knowledge of modern means of communication as well as the common MS Office applications and CRM systems characterise you for the efficient organisation of your daily sales activities

- You have a native level of written and spoken German and a good command of English for communication with all parties involved in an international corporate context
- You have a valid work permit and reside in Germany, in order to be able to flexibly carry out travelling activities in the greater Hamburg and Bremen area without legal restrictions
- In addition, you have a high degree of negotiating skills and strong communication skills as well as a pronounced service orientation in dealing with demanding customers:customers and architects
- Finally, you are a motivated career changer (m/f/d) or experienced sales professional (m/f/d) and always work independently, flexibly and with a high willingness to travel
