We are looking for a Cloud Business Analyst (Mid to Senior Level) with a strong focus on Data, Analytics & Generative AI , who understands how modern digital businesses work and how cloud, data and AI can create measurable business impact. In this role, you will work at the intersection of technology, business models and strategy , advising stakeholders up to C-level and shaping data- and cloud-driven transformation initiatives across industries such as E-Commerce, digital platforms and data-driven organizations .

Depending on your experience level (Mid or Senior), you will:

• Translate business strategies and industry requirements into structured business cases for cloud transformations, data platforms, analytics and GenAI use cases (e.g. personalization, forecasting, automation, decision support).

• Analyze digital business models (e.g. E-Commerce, subscription, platform models) and identify how data & AI can improve KPIs such as revenue growth, conversion, customer lifetime value, cost efficiency or scalability.

• Collaborate closely with cloud architects and engineering teams to understand technical solutions and translate them into clear business value for different stakeholder groups.

• Support or lead early project phases such as discovery workshops, assessments, pre-sales engagements and business case development with increasing ownership at senior level.

• Advise clients on cloud, data & AI strategies , including economic evaluations such as TCO, ROI and investment prioritization.

• Create compelling decision materials (presentations, visualizations, dashboards) that enable management to make informed strategic decisions.

Your profile:

We are open to different seniority levels from Mid- to Senior-Level. W hat matters most is your ability to connect industry, business and technology .

You bring:

• Experience in consulting or comparable roles
  Typically 3–7+ years in business consulting, IT consulting, digital transformation, data, analytics or cloud-related roles.

• Strong industry understanding , ideally in E-Commerce, digital products, platforms or data-driven businesses, including typical processes, KPIs and decision drivers.

• Solid understanding of cloud, data & AI concepts
  You understand modern cloud architectures, data platforms and AI use cases. AWS knowledge is a plus , but not a hard requirement.

• Business case & analytical skills
  Experience with financial and economic evaluations such as ROI, TCO etc.

• Project & stakeholder management capabilities
  Familiarity with Agile environments and the ability to structure complex discussions and align diverse stakeholders.

• Excellent communication skills in German and English
  You can translate complex technical topics into clear, business-oriented messages and build trust with clients and colleagues.

• Ownership & curiosity
  You take responsibility for your topics, continuously deepen your expertise and stay curious about new technologies, industries and business models, especially in the fast-evolving field of Data & GenAI.
