Our core business focuses on the distribution of affordable medicines via wholesalers and pharmacies, generating revenues through tenders, rebate agreements with statutory health insurers, and targeted marketing activities.

To further strengthen our company, we are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Tender Manager (all genders) to take full ownership of our tendering activities within the German retail and healthcare environment. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring successful tender participation, competitive pricing, and strong collaboration with stakeholders across the German healthcare landscape.

A challenging task

  • Manage the entire tender process in the retail and healthcare sector.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of tender bids, including the development of tender-specific pricing strategies.
  • Compile tender strategies based on analysing competitive intelligence (prices, volumes, conditions) to increase tender success rates.
  • For each tender conduct the document management, ensuring compliance with the bidding requirements, uploading the bid
  • Develop and optimize processes and procedures to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient tender submissions.
  • Build and maintain an internal database for proactive tender monitoring, documentation, competitor benchmarking, and pricing analysis.
  • Take full P&L responsibility for tender-related business.
  • Drive demand planning in line with market requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with public health insurers, wholesalers, and local stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with supply chain, regulatory affairs, and QA/QC teams to ensure tender obligations can be met.
  • Provide regular reporting and business insights to the Managing Director.

A convincing background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or Business Administration; a Master’s degree in Public Procurement is a strong plus.
  • 5–7 years of experience in managing public tender documentation, pricing, and processes, ideally within the Medical Device or Pharma industry.
  • Proven expertise in tendering, pricing strategy, and demand planning.
    Solid understanding of the German healthcare system and its pricing mechanisms.
  • A track record of success in tender business (AOK tenders, hospital tenders are advantageous).
  • Strong entrepreneurial, commercial and analytical mindset, paired with strategic and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proactive and detail-oriented.
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
