Your tasks with us
- Developing modern software solutions in Python and JavaScript
- Development, maintenance and further development of the company-wide data architecture (including ETL processes, data bricks, SQL) as well as the system architecture (e.g. webhooks, HTTP-based integrations).
- Planning, implementation and automation of build, test and deployment processes (CI/CD) using YAML workflows, GitHub and AWS.
- Ensuring high data and software quality, including the implementation of standards in the areas of data quality, governance, security, and compliance.
- Close collaboration with data scientists, analysts and specialist departments.
- Monitoring, error analysis and performance optimization
- Conducting requirements engineering from requirements gathering to technical specification.
- Regular provision of second and third-level support
This is what you bring with you
- Completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in software development in a professional environment
- Excellent knowledge of software development with Python (JavaScript optional)
- Confident handling of quality assurance methods such as clean code, unit tests, or test automation
- Experience in the deployment, operation, and maintenance of software solutions
- Experience with modern development environments, e.g., Visual Studio Code
- Solid knowledge of version control, especially with Git
- Experience in using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar systems)
- Good knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- Strong communication skills and interest in collaborating with internal and external clients
- Teamwork skills, structured work habits and a high degree of initiative
