This awaits you
- You will develop AI and machine learning solutions for the future of port and logistics processes – from precise predictions (e.g., arrival times, throughput times, maintenance) to optimization models and LLM-based applications with RAG or multi-agent setups
- You build models, develop pipelines, ensure smooth integration into the lakehouse and take over operations using modern MLOps methods
- You will work closely with data governance, IT security (KRITIS), enterprise architecture, cloud/infra teams and BI to bring innovative solutions securely and sustainably into the organization
- You make results tangible with BI tools, define KPIs and support colleagues through workshops and knowledge sharing
- You keep an eye on data protection, compliance and the AI Act – ensuring that our solutions are not only smart but also trustworthy
What you bring with you
- You have several years of experience in data science/machine learning – from modeling to productive deployment
- You have very good knowledge of Python and the common ML stack
- You already have experience with MLOps (MLflow, CI/CD, Container/Kubernetes) and cloud environments (ideally Azure)
- You have initial practical experience with LLM applications (RAG, embeddings, prompting) or are willing to quickly familiarize yourself with them
- Ideally, you already have experience in data governance and security (e.g. GDPR, AI Act)
- You are communicative and have very good German and English skills
Are you interested but don't meet all the requirements? Let's talk!
