Job Description:
A vacancy for a Digitalisation Engineer and Product Owner for Cabin & Cargo (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Commercial in Hamburg to ensure the upcoming Single-Aisle ramp-up.
As a member of the Cabin&Cargo digital mock up team for processes, methods and tools, you will join a small highly motivated and empowered team. Your objective is to create operational innovation within the customization process in order to adapt our different Airbus programs like A320 and A350 to the needs of our Airlines.
You will act as Product Owner, Epic Owner or Architect for digitalisation projects connecting the operational teams and the software development and driving the digital transformation.

Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your Tasks and responsibilities
You will build and continuously enhance strategic visions and road maps for digital mock-up and data management having industry 4.0 in mind.
You will lead a development team and translate and coordinate the business needs of several improvements into features and requirements for methods and tool development.
Together with the business and information management architects you will create concepts and lead their realisation.
Based on agile methods you will focus on value generation and deployment to the operational teams including the needed transformation of knowledge management for the impacted people.
Through your deliveries you will adapt the processes, methods and tools for the operational team. By this, you will allow automatisation to avoid recurring work for the Cabin&Cargo engineering and enable lead time reduction for our aircrafts.
You will understand and prioritise the needs of different business owners and simplify complex technical improvements to ease the communication towards your stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
You hold a degree in engineering or similar
You have proven experience in Project Management and already took the project lead in a previous position.
You are a certified agile Product Owner.
You have experience of the aircraft customisation process inside engineering.
Change Management and focus on the people and their needs is part of your talents.
You have a passion for digital transformation and to improve processes, methods and tools.
You like to challenge existing tools beyond current capabilities like definition and configuration tools, rule engines, CatiaV5, 3DX and VPM systems.
Having programming skills by yourself allows you to understand, guide and challenge software developers and architects.
Building relationships and considering the human factor as the main part in a change management is natural for you.
You are a teambuilding and communicative person having a clear view on goals.
Your English is at a negotiation level
You are willing to travel up to once per month.
Preferred qualifications
German and French language skills
