Deine Aufgaben

This role will oversee the management of the Business Finance function of the Olympus Gastrointestinal Business (GI), a ~$2B revenue global business that is part of Gastrointestinal Solutions Division.

- Strategic financial business partnering for global GI leadership with focus on sustainable growth and profitability
- Comprehensive analysis of global P&L, working capital, and key financial performance indicators to support decision-making
- Identification, evaluation, and steering of business opportunities, including market expansion, product strategies, and M&A activities
- Leadership, standardization, and continuous improvement of global FP&A processes (actuals, forecasting, budgeting)
- Ownership and coordination of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning and reporting cycles across regions and functions
- Development and alignment of short- and long-term global financial plans based on business drivers and portfolio strategy
- Preparation of clear, impactful financial presentations and insights for Board of Directors and executive committees
- Establishment of transparency and performance tracking frameworks to monitor financial targets and support management decisions
- Promotion of financial acumen and best practices across functions to optimize business performance and remove barriers
- Leadership, coaching, and development of diverse global finance teams, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture

Deine Qualifikationen

- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 12+ years of relevant professional experience with strong progression in financial leadership roles
- Extensive expertise in financial management, corporate finance, strategic planning, and advanced financial analysis
- Proven track record as a business partner to senior leadership in complex, international organizations
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels globally
- Experience in multinational companies, ideally within the MedTech or healthcare industry
- High level of business acumen combined with strategic thinking and hands-on execution capability
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing global teams
- Strong change management skills with experience in driving process improvements and organizational transformation
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

This position can be based at any Olympus location across the EMEA region.
