Your area of responsibility:
- Land / Air / Sea
- Ensuring smooth, timely and efficient order processing
- Planning and organising the transport of goods (packaging, shipping method, route planning) - throughout Germany and Europe
- Planning and scheduling of transport orders
- Import and/or export processing
- Preparation of all shipment-relevant transport documents
- Preparatory customs clearance
- Coordination of partial and full loads
- Organisation of heavy and special transports
- Price negotiations with contractors
- Preparation of offers
- Independent communication with shipping companies, agents & customers
Your qualifications:
- Completed training as a businessman/ businesswoman for forwarding and logistics services)
- Fun at work
- Independent, structured way of working
- Knowledge of transport companies and transport routes, both regional and international
- Profound knowledge of dispatch processing, including customs clearance
- Knowledge of the relevant regulations
- Verhandlungssicheres Englisch in Wort und Schrift
- IT and MS Office skills
