What you will do
You will be part of the global Quality and EHS organization at tesa and play a key role in governing and continuously improving product and production quality performance across assigned tesa organizations. In this role, you ensure the consistent application of quality standards, processes, and management systems while driving efficiency, harmonization, and compliance on a global scale. Working closely with regional and global stakeholders, you actively contribute to strengthening tesa ’s quality culture and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities:
- Govern and further develop tesa ’s global quality performance within assigned organizations, ensuring alignment with corporate quality objectives
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems in line with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, ensuring consistent application of quality policies, procedures, and best practices
- Lead and coordinate global quality and process management initiatives, partnering with cross‑functional departments to define and implement harmonized processes
- Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality data, identifying trends, root causes, and opportunities for sustainable improvements
- Design, coordinate, and deliver global training programs on quality standards, procedures, and tools to employees at all organizational levels
- Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance indicators, audit results, and improvement initiatives to executive leadership
- Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and maintenance of quality records to support transparency, compliance, and decision‑making
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications or additional quality training are an advantage
- Extensive practical experience in quality management, preferably within a corporate, global, or multi‑site industrial environment
- Solid knowledge of Quality Management Systems and quality governance, ideally with hands‑on exposure to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
- Strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey quality policies, procedures, and training content across international organizations
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence and challenge across functions and regions
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and experience in data analysis to drive fact‑based improvements
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a dynamic, international environment with high attention to detail
