We are currently seeking, on behalf of our client, a Group Accountant (m/f/d) who is interested in taking on a technical leadership role within the accounting team.

• Review of quarterly reports from group subsidiaries with regard to accounting and consolidation-relevant matters

• Coordination of the group audit and serving as the main point of contact for external auditors

• Functional leadership of employees involved in consolidation tasks

• International communication (German/English) with domestic and foreign subsidiaries to resolve consolidation discrepancies

• Independent preparation of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with HGB (including quarterly and annual consolidation), including all reconciliation and consolidation entries

• Functional leadership of employees involved in consolidation tasks

• Commercial training or university degree in business administration with a focus on accounting/finance

• several years of professional experience in group consolidation

• Very good command of English, both written and spoken

• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
