Your Role

As Head of Corporate Treasury at tesa , you will lead the global treasury function and act as a trusted advisor to Executive Vice President Controlling & Accounting and further senior leadership. You will ensure that tesa maintains optimal liquidity, manages funding requirements, and mitigates financial risks across all regions. This role combines strategic foresight with operational excellence, requiring strong leadership, deep treasury expertise, and the ability to navigate complex financial landscapes. You will drive treasury-related projects, manage relationships with financial institutions, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Define and Execute Treasury Strategy: Develop and implement tesa ’s global treasury strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and risk appetite; implement operating model with clear responsibility split between corporate, regional and transactional matters.
• Liquidity & Funding Management: Safeguard global liquidity and solvency across all regions and currencies. Forecast medium- and long-term funding needs and implement appropriate financing and hedging strategies.
• Leadership & Development: Lead and develop the Corporate Treasury team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Investment & Risk Management: Define and execute investment strategies, manage ^FX exposure, and ensure effective risk mitigation.
• Banking & Compliance: Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions. Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements.
• Cash & Process Optimization: Oversee cash pooling, banking structures, and treasury systems. Drive process improvements and digitalization initiatives.
• Governance & Reporting: Ensure robust internal controls, prepare treasury reports and forecasts for senior management, and support audits.
• Strategic Projects: Support M&A activities, governance initiatives, and system implementations.

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in Corporate Treasury or Corporate Finance in an international environment
• Proven expertise in liquidity management, funding, and ^FX hedging
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and driving strategic initiatives
• Strong business acumen and strategic mindset
• Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
• Deep knowledge of treasury systems, banking processes, and compliance standards
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Fluent in English and German (spoken and written)
• High level of integrity, precision, and discretion
• Ability to balance strategic foresight with operational execution under pressure
• Experience with digital treasury tools and process automation (desirable)
