In this thesis, you will explore key factors influencing structural electrical insulation, examining the combined effects of tapes, surface treatments, and adhesives. The goal is to develop well-supported recommendations that help establish tesa ’s expertise in this emerging area.

Your tasks:

• You investigate process parameters for BEV cell insulation using tapes, pretreatments, and liquid glues.
• You prepare parts, design and execute DoE-based trials, and document results.
• You analyze data with statistical methods to develop clear guidelines and next steps.
• You translate findings into customer-ready recommendations with application engineers
• You promote sustainability by assessing lightweight and recyclable adhesive concepts

• You study a scientific/engineering subject such as technical engineering, chemical engineering or other related studies
• You have a hands-on mentality and enjoy practical lab work
• You work independently, precisely, and reliably
• You communicate clearly and collaborate well in diverse teams
• You are proficient in MS Office
• You are fluent in written and spoken English (Level B2 or higher), German language skills are a plus
