About the role
In this position, you will lead business critical / strategic product development projects in international context with multiple technical and non-technical challenges, end-to-end responsibility from Project Start until Product Release incl Industrialization, large variety of available projects and diversification of task (introduction of new process technologies, new packages, co-operation with 3rd parties.

- Accountable to achieve defined project results
- Accountable for execution of complex multi-site R&D projects according to the agreed project plan and within agreed boundaries (Specification, quality, timing, costs, information / reporting and organization)
- Accountable that relevant quality standards for own projects are defined and met, and to monitor & control execution of own projects
- Accountable to define competencies and resources needed and build up a performing project team. Take team leadership including operational guidance and conflict management
- Responsible to define the overall project plan in consultation / agreement with all relevant management levels and stakeholders within Nexperia organization up to Executive Management Level (EMT)
- Responsible to exercise judgement on the project set-up, competitive timelines, budget, efficient execution, changes and risks, challenges decisions on process, procedures, method and technology to be used in the project
- Responsible to manage all requested changes and establish change management process
- Responsible to analyze project risks (w. r. t. specifications, costs, timing, etc.) and develop & incorporate scenarios to overcome these risks
- Responsible to actively drive improvements in project execution to achieve agreed business targets
What you will need
- University degree in a technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years proven track record in leading complex projects for product development within an international & technical business environment, depending on educational credentials
- Experience within Semiconductors is a benefit (Knowledge of semiconductor processes and packages)
- Expert in Project Management with excellent knowledge in state-of-the-art project management tools and their application
- PMI certification or similar is a clear benefit
- Proven leadership skills in leading project teams in a global, intercultural environment
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. German skills are a plus
