What you'll do

As a Senior Product Engineer (Fullstack), you will own features from end to end. Starting with customers’ challenge, you will iterate on different ideas and ship features to production. Our daily challenge is that our customers require an easily digestible UI/UX for making complex decisions, while the datasets behind it are large and complex. We need to think two steps ahead and break down the complexity into actionable, easily understandable UI.
- Lead feature development that directly impacts customer success
- Engage actively with customers to deeply understand their needs and feedback
- Collaborate closely with the CEO, CTO, sales, and engineers
- Identify and implement technical enhancements for scalability and performance
- Improve the overall developer experience and tooling
- Actually get things done, deciding yourself what to focus on—without bureaucracy

Must-Have Skills

- Speak English fluently, German is a plus
- Have clear and professional communication skills (incl. async)
- 5+ years of experience as Frontend/Backend/Full-stack engineer
- Having worked with TypeScript for 2+ years in production
- Have hands-on experience SQL databases, ideally PostgreSQL
- Strong product intuition and an ownership mindset
- Track record of shipping and improving things that matter
- Care deeply about user experience and know when to optimize for speed versus long-term code maintainability
- You are comfortable with ambiguity & can solve problems autonomously

Bonus / Nice-to-Have

- An eye for UX and UI, especially for data-heavy interfaces
- Experience in eCommerce and/or B2B SaaS, building dashboards or data visualizations
- DX improvements or tooling you’ve driven in past roles
- Exposure to Python-based data processing pipelines (e.g., pandas)
- Experience with infra frameworks, such as Terraform, Kubernetes & co.

Our app is built with a TypeScript-based stack:
- Frontend: TypeScript, Next.js 15, TailwindCSS, shadcn/ui
- Backend: Next.js (fullstack), migrating from NestJS
- Database: PostgreSQL with Drizzle ORM
- Infra: Vercel
- AI Tools: GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, v0.dev (used daily)
