Trainee IT Consulting (m/f/d) - 01.09.2025

Your new job includes
As an IT Consulting Trainee, you will be comprehensively prepared in our 18-month program for a promising specialist or management career in international travel retail. You will have a say in which IT areas precisely you will work in. This will give you a deeper insight into the collaboration between business and IT. During the program you will also

• work with various IT departments and their interfaces and get to know our business from the ground up
• take responsibility for your own projects and master various challenges in Germany and abroad, e.g. at our retail locations or international subsidiaries
• in the role of an IT consultant, you will advise our business departments on all IT and process-related issues, understand problems and develop efficient processes and solutions
• proactively help to design and optimize solutions for the systems you support and ensure smooth and reliable application operation
• drive communication with adjacent departments and manage cooperation with external service providers

What you should bring along
Your task is demanding. That's why we are, when it comes to selecting applicants. That's why we want:
- a university degree with a background in economics or technology
- at least 6 months of relevant practical experience, ideally in an IT environment, e.g. through internships or working student activities
- good understanding of technology and ideally basic knowledge of a common programming language as well as interface and cloud technologies
- intercultural competence, through experience abroad - e.g. internships or semesters abroad as well as very good German and English skills
- structured, future-oriented thinking, practical problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for technical details
- a high affinity for digital topics, analytical talent as well as social and communication skills
- mobility and a high willingness to travel for worldwide assignments
