Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and proactive Working Student to support the Head of FCL Procurement with day-to-day procurement activities and escalations. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in ocean freight procurement and market dynamics while contributing to impactful projects at DHL Industrial Projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the FCL Procurement Head with operational and strategic procurement tasks.
- Support in managing escalations and resolving issues with carriers and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and analysis on container shipping trends and pricing.
- Help maintain and update procurement data, reports, and KPIs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of procurement processes.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver results with attention to detail.
Your Profile:
- Currently enrolled in a university program (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field).
- Basic understanding of logistics operations, preferably in freight forwarding or shipping lines.
- Familiarity with FCL (Full Container Load) processes and container market dynamics would be desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle escalations professionally.
- Proactive, motivated to learn, and eager to create impact, even in small tasks.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
