Are you a highly motivated and curious student with a passion for smart electronics and innovative technology? We're looking for an enthusiastic Working Student to join our team and contribute fresh ideas to our prototyping and development efforts. If you love to tinker, build, and bring concepts to life, we want to hear from you!
Tasks
- Support in PCB-Design of simple boards (creating schematics, selecting parts, board-layout)
- Development & Design of new mechanisms (mechanical & electronic) and adaption of existing designs
- Integration of IOT-Devices / Sensors / Motors
- programming microcontroller (MCU)/ Microprocessors (MPU) like arduino, ESP etc.
- Contribute to the development of an automated solution for laboratories, focusing on a 6-axis robot.
- Engage actively in the development processes, assisting in the design and creation of components tailored to specific requirements.
- Innovate from concept to reality: Develop components and assemblies starting from initial ideas, through 3D-printed prototypes, to the final product.
Requirements
- Reliability and Initiative: You work with absolute reliability and are proactive in developing and sharing your own ideas.
- Smart Electronics Expertise: You have experience with smart electronics, ideally having designed and soldered your own PCBs.
- Academic Background: Currently enrolled in a technical field of study such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Development, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- CAD & Additive Manufacturing: A keen interest in the development and adaptation of components in CAD, coupled with initial experience in additive manufacturing for prototype construction.
- Curiosity and Cross-Disciplinary Interest: A bright curiosity and genuine interest in tackling cross-disciplinary challenges related to topics like robot control, sensor integration, AI, and visual detection.
- Independent & Proactive Work Style: Ability to work independently with strong proactive research skills.
- Structured & Agile Mindset: Structured and logical thinking, self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable working in an agile team environment.
- Language Skills: Good English language skills.
