About this role

As working student, you will support the SiC development team. You will get in touch with Nexperia’s SiC product portfolio and R&D organization.

What you will do

• Perform electrical characterization of semiconductor wafers and final SiC products.
• Measure surge, ESD, and switching times in the lab; design and run automated test sequences.
• Evaluate experiments, analyze large datasets, and visualize and present results.
• Investigate competitor products

What you will need

• Enrolled Student in Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar
• Preferably in the final year of your Bachelor’s (or early Master’s)
• Preferred skills: Semiconductor technology, electrical measurement techniques, data analysis, MS Office, SPICE
• Personal requirements: analytical thinking, team ability, working with colleagues, resilience
• Fluent in English, written and verbal , good command of German would be beneficial

Als Werkstudent (m/f/d) unterstützt Du das SiC-Entwicklungsteam. Du lernst Nexperias SiC-Produktportfolio und unsere Forschungs- und Entwicklungsorganisation kennen.

Deine Hauptaufgaben

• Elektrische Charakterisierung von Halbleiterwafern und finalen SiC-Produkten
• Messung von Surge-, ESD- und Schaltzeiten im Labor; Aufbau und Durchführung automatisierter Testsequenzen
• Auswertung von Versuchen, Analyse großer Datensätze sowie Visualisierung und Präsentation der Ergebnisse
• Wettbewerbsanalyse

Dein Profil

• Student/in der Physik, Elektrotechnik oder eines vergleichbaren Studiengangs
• Bevorzugt im letzten Bachelorjahr (oder frühem Masterstudium)
• Wünschenswerte Kenntnisse: Halbleitertechnologie, elektrische Messtechnik, Datenanalyse, MS Office
• Persönliche Stärken: analytisches Denken, Teamfähigkeit, kollaboratives Arbeiten, Belastbarkeit
• Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
