Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the LH AL Data Analytics team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 24 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Data Scientist Tools and Systems.
You can look forward to
- As part of an agile, collaborative team, you will contribute to exciting and diverse data projects together with reinsurance units worldwide
- Collaboration with IT departments and reinsurance units to drive the automation of data analytics
- Modular design, implementation and development of data analytics related tool sets
- Contributing to the design and optimization of infrastructure (including cloud) and methodological development
You come equipped with
- Passion for data analytics, related infrastructure and international collaboration
- A master's degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics or a comparable degree program
- Sound knowledge of a high-level programming language (e.g. R, Python, Julia) and data infrastructure such as MS Azure and Databricks
- Structured and solution-oriented thinking and ideally basic knowledge of actuarial science
- An international mindset and ideally experience in international collaboration
- Strong communication skills paired with proficient user skills in English - another language is an advantage
