Research Assistant (Postdoc, m/f/d) in Algebraic Geometry

The Institute of Algebraic Geometry invites applications for the position of a

to be appointed October 1st, 2026 or earlier. The position is limited to three years.

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the teaching and research of the department. He/she should have a good research track record in Algebraic Geometry. There is a mild teaching duty which can be conducted in English during the first year, but will be in German eventually.

To qualify for the position, applicants must hold a scientific university degree in Mathematics. Furthermore, a doctoral degree with above-average success in Algebraic Geometry is expected.
