Position Overview:
Team Leader – Seismic Data Processing (Hanover) performs and supervises seismic data production processing, which includes 2D/3D/4D land, marine, both time and depth imaging, multi-component.

Responsibilities:

• Lead of seismic processing projects
• Designing and executing processing flows, parameter test evaluation, quality control and problem solving; resource management of CPU, disk, and personnel to ensure on-time delivery of products
• Managing of the processing team
• Interaction with Oil & Gas company representatives, coordination of weekly updates and meeting planning

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in geophysics or other science field (e.g. physics, mathematics, computer science)
• 10 years of industry experience in full cycle Land and Marine Processing, Time and Depth Imaging
• 5 years of previous leadership experience, e.g. Processing Team Lead
• Landmark ProMAX/SeisSpace, OpenCPS/ Reveal and/or other state-of-the-art seismic processing software experience, with insight into how different modules/algorithms work
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Good seismic eye to catch data problems and experience to fix them
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop/mentor junior level processors
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
• Proven working relationships
• Travel willingness
