Your role in our team:

• Interface between Sales and the responsible Product Unit
• Identification and evaluation of potential new market segments and applications
• Coordination of the product portfolio, including lifecycle management of options (launch/discontinuation)Responsibility for creating specifications for future models and options
• Prioritization of product improvements based on market observation and exchange with Sales
• Pricing and positioning of products in a global environment
• Continuous improvement of profitability and increase of market share as well as equipment rate
• Ongoing market observation including competitor activities and trends in agricultural engineering and processes
• Active support of development projects in accordance with the CLAAS development process
• Coordination of the sales strategy with the sales organization

Your profile:

• Successfully completed technical degree (e.g., agricultural engineering, agricultural sciences, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar) or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in agricultural machinery / harvesting equipment (knowledge of CLAAS products is plus)
• Several years of practical experience in product management in an international company
• Strong technical affinity combined with solid business knowledge
• Proficient IT skills
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
• Excellent communication skills in an international environment and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Assertiveness and strong moderation skills
• Analytical and solution-oriented thinking, as well as a goal-oriented, independent, and structured working style
• Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally
