Postdoc / Bioinformatician – Computational Multi-Omics for Precision Oncology (m/f/d)
starting on December 1st at the Institute for Computational Biomedicine.
Join our exciting mission to decode leukemic dormancy and plasticity in AML!
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join Dr. Junyan Lu’s group at Heidelberg University. The position is embedded in the TRANS-AML-EU consortium, a pan-European initiative uniting leading clinical, academic, and industry partners to advance functional precision medicine in Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Funded through the MWK BEGIN program, our group plays a central role in building the computational infrastructure that enables secure, large-scale data integration across Europe.
The postdoc will focus on two pillars:
- Multi-omics data integration: developing robust pipelines and frameworks for preprocessing, harmonization, and integrative analysis of genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and metabolomic data.
- Functional drug screen analysis: establishing infrastructures and computational workflows to process, standardize, and integrate ex vivo drug response datasets, linking them with molecular profiles for predictive biomarker discovery.
Together, these infrastructures will form the foundation for patient stratification, biomarker identification, and translational tools for precision oncology.
