Postdoc – Computational Functional Neuro-oncology (m/f/d)
wanted of the next possible date at the Division of Neuro-oncology at the Neurology Departement.
We are recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the research group of Computational Neuro-Oncology and Evolutionary Precision Medicine at Heidelberg University Hospital (UKHD), embedded within the Heidelberg neuro-oncology ecosystem (UKHD/DKFZ).
This position focuses on deciphering therapeutic strategies in CNS tumors by linking cellular states to functional vulnerabilities arising from their intrinsic molecular and phenotypic heterogeneity.
The project will integrate single-cell and bulk multi-omics data with functional perturbation datasets. Through integrative computational analyses, the aim is to move beyond descriptive characterization and develop quantitative frameworks that define actionable tumor states, their dependencies, and resistance mechanisms, ultimately enabling more precise and effective therapeutic strategies.
