Tasks
About the Role
We’re looking for a Professional Services Consultant who combines project management, functional consulting, and client management.
You’ll participate with full lifecycle of Everest ERP implementations, from discovery to go-live, ensuring delivery excellence, stakeholder alignment, and measurable business outcomes.This role requires domain knowledge with ERP system design, configuration, and deployment. You’ll collaborate with technical developers, solution architects, and product management teams to deliver implementations that drive AI-enabled efficiency, visibility, and control.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Project Delivery
- Contribute to multiple ERP implementation projects end-to-end, managing scope, schedule, and risk across functional workstreams.
- Translate business requirements into scalable ERP configurations, ensuring alignment with Everest best practices and AI-native architecture.
- Serve as the client’s trusted advisor, building long-term relationships with CFOs, Controllers, and Operations leaders.
- Oversee project documentation — including functional specs, data migration templates, and test scripts.
- Drive change management, user training, and go-live readiness to ensure successful adoption.
Technical & Functional Expertise

Accounting / Record-to-Report (R2R):

Design and implement General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, Journal Entry workflows, consolidations, and multi-book accounting structures.

Support configuration of month-end close processes including accruals, deferrals, eliminations, and intercompany transactions.

Configure financial reporting structures and automation of close activities through AI-assisted workflows.

Revenue Recognition (ASC 606 / IFRS 15):

Implement and configure revenue schedules, SSP allocation, and multi-element arrangements based on best practices.

Map performance obligations and ensure alignment between contract data, billing, and revenue events.

Collaborate with finance teams to automate deferred revenue tracking and revenue journal generation.

Order-to-Cash (O2C):
-
Oversee setup for customers, contracts, invoicing, and payments.

Design approval workflows and exception handling logic for billing operations.

Procure-to-Pay (P2P):

Implement vendor, purchasing, and AP processes including purchase requisitions, 3-way match, and expense management.

Lead requirements gathering and configure approval workflows, taxes, and integrations to P2P/Spend Management systems.

Reporting & Analytics:

Partner with clients to design dashboards, KPI metrics, and AI-based analytics for finance and operational insights.

Technical Implementation Oversight:

Coordinate with technical consultants on data migration, API integrations, and sandbox testing.

Validate business process mappings and configurations during build and UAT phases.
-
Support AI-driven configuration, workflow automation, and validation logic using Everest’s Live Sandbox.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain Everest’s Professional Services methodology and ensure consistent delivery standards.
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans proactively.
- Contribute to internal playbooks, best practice guides, and training material.
- Support pre-sales activities by helping scope and estimate new implementations.
Requirements
What You Bring
- 5+ years in ERP implementation, consulting, or professional services.
- Hands-on experience with ERP modules across R2R, O2C, and P2P.
- Understanding of data migration, system integrations (API / EDI), and workflow automation.
- Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- ERP certification preferred (not required).
- Experience in SaaS or technology consulting environments is a plus.Fluency in both German and English
