Tasks

• Lead operational excellence: Manage and optimize daily transport operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely service delivery.
• Strategic decision-making: Develop and implement strategic plans to address logistical challenges and enhance overall performance.
• Cross-department collaboration: Act as a central link between management, fleet, dispatch, and departments such as sales and finance.
• Effective communication: Foster open and transparent communication across teams, clients, and business partners.
• Team leadership and development: Coach, mentor, and empower team members to achieve professional growth and deliver high performance.
• Process improvement and digitalization: Initiate and lead projects focused on simplifying and digitalizing workflows to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of operational or sales experience in the transportation sector or experience in a similar managerial position within a logistics or transport company.

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Strategic and analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Fluent English and German are required.

• Openness and willingness to learn.

• Drive for continuous development and improvement.

• ​Knowledge of the container transport business will be considered an advantage.

• Knowledge of Russian will be an asset.
